Concept 1: Le Corbusier
Rectilinear shapes that divide, yet draw attention, to a larger volume.
In the above images we see the metal skeletons of the chairs, and the columns/ planes underneath the second floor of a building. In both cases, the small rectilinear shapes ethier highligth the size/ lushness of what they are attactched to, or seperate interior from exterior (building).
I endeavoured to utilize this in the architecture of the light rail stop
Here you see a second draft for the tram stop, filled with rectilinear crevices to divide the large volume and adorned with topography that creates an air of ambiguity.
