"The progressive shifting of function and infromation between phases of a structure allows user to experience a building as a parallel organism"

In project 2, one of the architects from whom inspiration could be drawn was Servo Stockholm/LAX. Servo integrate parallel processing into their designs often, and it grabbed my interest as a mechainic of structural expression. Parallel processing turns what could otherwise be inanimate into an extension of the human condition, a sepereate mind embedded in the form of a user's environment. The design of EXP3 is based upon the idea of space that extends from and reflects the inetntions of its users.
